Data were analyzed by SAS program including descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's test and Pearson's Correlation Coefficients. The results are summarized as follows; 1. In the relationship between general characteristics of Subjects and alienation, grade (t=2.13, p = .035), economic status(F=3.09. p = .035), school ranks(F=3.00, p = .032), friends variable(t=-3.34. p = .OODwere significant differences. 2. In the relationship between general characteristics of subjects and perceived social supports, grade and friends variable were significant differences. The score of friend' support(t = 8.47, p = .004), teacher's support (t = 19.17. p = .000) and total social supports (t = 3.11, p = .OO2) were significantly high in second grade than first grade. Also, the score of friend’ support(t = 5.55, p= .000) and total social supports (t = 3.11, p = .OO2) were significantly high in group with friends than group with no friends. 3. There were significant negative correlations between alienation and social supports(r = -.432, p = .000). The type of social supports that the correlation with alienation was the highest was the friend support(r = '302. p = .000).
