| Abstract |
Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the self esteem (SE), health promoting behavior (HPB), family adaptation (FA) and symptoms of stress(SOS) between nursing and other major university student.
Methods Data were collected by questionnaires from 200 university students in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-test, and t-test.
Results The amount of smoking of nursing students showed lower than other women students. The score of HPB of nursing students showed higher than other major women student The score of SE, and SOS of nursing students showed lower than other major student. There were significant relationship among SE, HPB, FA, and SOS.
Conclusion This study suggest that SE, HPB, FA are significantly considerate factors in development stress management program among university students. |
