A Study on the Death-related Attitude in Undergraduate Students

Abstract
Purpose
This study was to identify the death-related attitude in undergraduate students.
Methods
The subjected were 932 one university students. This study was conducted to March 2005. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, /-test.
Results
Death-related attitude in undergraduate students was negative in acceptance and meaning, displeasure in emotional response and pursuit comfort in situation of death confront. Death-related attitude(experience of thinking about death, death is punishment of guilt, death is fearful, tell an another about your death) in undergraduate students was significant differences in sex, religion, majoring-related health among general characteristic. Experience of thinking about death was differences in sex and religion. Death is punishment of guilt was differences in majoring-related health and death is fearful was differences in sex, majoring-related health. Tell an another about your death was differences in majoring-related health.
Conclusion
These findings indicated that the death education program to convert positive mind from negative mind death-related attitude in undergraduate students.
