Abstract |
Purpose This Study was to find out the factors affecting the stress for adolescents, and thus provide basic materials for developing a stress management program which can prevent maladjustment behavior.
Methods The subject of this descriptive survey on causal relations were 1788 subject enrolled in middle and high schools selected on a convenience sampling basis. The data collected from June-July, 2003. The collected materials were analyzed using an SPSS 11.0 Program. In order to verify this study, frequency, percentage, T-Test, ANOVA, Correlation, and Multiple regression were used.
Results 1) Individual factors such as gender, personality, 2) family factors such as father's misbehavior, Insincerebrowbeatdevaluate typical communication, 3) social environmental factor such as school satisfaction were identified as significant variables forecasting stress.
Conclusion The theoretical model built on the basis of the major findings of this study will help promote a wholesome youth health related to stress. It is recommended that a program be developed that can help control the variables identified in this study along with a follow-up study to verify the model. |
